The Wholesale Active strategy is an actively managed and diversified selection of investments, aimed at achieving better risk adjusted returns versus defined portfolio benchmarks. The strategy involves a greater focus on achieving investment returns net of cost versus a focus on costs alone and to this end the portfolio may invest in a variety of investment vehicles, such as direct shares, Listed Investment Companies (LICs), Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and specialist managed funds, driven by an overarching asset allocation determination.
