Promotion Period

Entry into the Promotion commences at 9:00 am AEDT Thursday 25 July 2024.

Entry into the Promotion closes at 6:00pm AEDT Friday 2 August 2024.

Eligible States and Territories

An entrant must normally reside in the following States and Territories:

• Victoria
• New South Wales
• Queensland
• Western Australia
• Tasmania

Age Restriction

Entrants must be 18 years of age or over.

Maximum number of entries

Limit of one (1) entry permitted per person.

Entry Method

During the Promotion Period entrants must have attended the Australian Lifestyle Medicine Conference from Thursday 25 July 2024 to Saturday 27 July 2024. BlueRock postcards will be available to guests at the conference that include instructions on the postcard to scan the QR code for the chance to win.

To enter the promotion, before the end of the Promotional Period, entrants must scan the QR code on the BlueRock postcard to reach the Website follow the prompts to fully complete the online entry form, and register their details in the manner required to be eligible to win. It is the responsibility of the entrants to ensure that their contact details provided are correct and to notify the Promoter of any changes to their contact details prior to the date of announcing the winner.

All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be placed into the draw, as set out below under Draw Details. The Promoter will conduct the draw in accordance with the Draw Details below.

Entry Restrictions

Entrants must have attended the Australian Lifestyle Medicine Conference on Thursday 25 July 2024 – Saturday 27 July 2024 and received a BlueRock Postcard to enter the competition.

Draw Details

One (1) draw will be conducted, as follows using computerised random selection:

• Between 9:00am – 5:00pm AEDT Tuesday 6 August 2024 at the Promoter’s premises.

The first valid entry drawn will be awarded the Prize.

The draw conductor may draw additional reserve entries in case an invalid entry or entrant is drawn.

Prize

There is one (1) Prize to be won as follows:

• Up to $10,000 (incl GST) value of BlueRock professional services consulting (valued at the time of redemption) to be used within 12 months of confirmation of acceptance of the prize which can be used on services such as:

• Financial Advice: Take control of your finances and explore strategies to optimise wealth creation. This includes a review your family goals and objectives, business growth/succession planning (if relevant), cash flow strategies, investment opportunities, superannuation, and insurance.

• Financial Forecasting: Gain insights into your financial trajectory and optimise your business costs for sustained success.

• Contract reviews: Our Law teams can complete any of the following reviews - Estate Planning Review, Asset Protection Review & Employment Contract Review

• Holistic Loan Review: Explore optimal finance options providing a detailed comparison of alternative banks or lenders and their proposed interest rates and fees.

Prize Restrictions and acceptance of Prize

Entrants must confirm acceptance of the prize in writing between Wednesday 7 August 2024 and Wednesday 23 October 2024.

If the Prize winner does not provide confirmation of acceptance of the Prize, the Prize will be treated as unclaimed and a redraw will occur. Any balance of the prize not used within twelve months of confirmation of acceptance of the prize, will also be forfeited but no further redraw will occur.

Total Prize Value

Up to AUD $10,000 (plus GST)

Notification of Winners

Winner will be notified by email and/or phone by 5:00pm AEDT Wednesday 7 August 2024.

All reasonable attempts will be made to contact each winner.

Unclaimed Prize

In the event of an unclaimed prize, the unclaimed prize draw will be conducted at 10:00am AEDT Thursday 8 August 2024 at the Promoter's premises. The winner of the redraw will be notified by email and/or phone by 5:00pm AEDT Friday 9 August 2024.

Prize Delivery

The Prize winner will receive a call from the Promoter to schedule a time with a consultant to redeem their prize.

Data and Privacy

By entering the Competition, each entrant is taken as giving consent to the Promoter collecting and using the entrant's personal information for the purpose of conducting this Competition (including for the purpose of identifying, notifying and announcing the Winner). By accepting these terms and conditions, the entrant consents to the Promoter, its related entities and business partners (as applicable) using the entrants’ personal information for the purpose of sending direct marketing messages with respect to programs, products and services available through any of all of them.

The Promoter will handle the entrants’ personal information in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy which is available at https://www.bluerock.com.au/privacy-policy

Liability and Release

If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

• to disqualify any entrant; or

• subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition, as the Promoter considers appropriate.

Any guarantee or warranty given is in addition to any relevant statutory guarantees and warranties and nothing in these terms and conditions restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

The Promoter, its promotional partners, prize supplier and their related bodies corporate will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss (including, without limitation, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage to or delay in transit of prizes.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.

The Promoter has no control over communications networks or services, third party online or technical partners, Smart Speaker Platform availability, the Internet, or computer or telephone networks or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise.

The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies make no warranties or representations about the fitness for purpose or suitability of any prize and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness for any purpose of any prize, or the failure of any prize to be of merchantable quality. If liability under terms implied by legislation cannot be excluded, the liability of the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies is limited to re-supplying the relevant goods or services or paying the cost of replacing them.

The Promoter is not responsible for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of this Promotion results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.

The Promoter will not be responsible for any act, omission, failure or delay not reasonably within its control.

Additional Terms

The entrant agrees and acknowledges that they have read these terms and conditions and that entry into the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.

Employees (and their immediate family members) of agencies/companies directly associated with the conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter, businesses involved in determination of winner/s for the Promotion, businesses involved in the management of the Promotion, any organisation benefiting from the Promotion, the Promoter’s distributors, suppliers, subsidiary companies/businesses and associated companies and agencies are not eligible to enter. "Immediate family member" means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

No part of a prize is exchangeable, redeemable for cash or any other prize or transferable, unless otherwise specified in writing by the Promoter.

If any winner chooses not to take their prize (or is unable to), or does not take or claim a prize by the time specified by the Promoter, or is unavailable, they forfeit the prize and the Promoter is not obliged to substitute the prize.

If a prize is unavailable the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize to a prize of equal or greater value and specification.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to validate and check the authenticity of entries and entrant's details (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence). In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof as required by the Promoter to validate their entry, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. Incomplete, indecipherable, inaudible, incorrect and illegible entries, as applicable, will at the Promoter's discretion be deemed invalid and not eligible to win. Entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third party rights, including intellectual property rights, are not eligible to win. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an individual to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and may render all entries submitted by that individual invalid.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions. In the event that there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion or claiming a prize, the Promoter will resolve the dispute in direct consultation with the entrant. If the dispute cannot be resolved the Promoter’s decision will be final.

The entrant will participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable marketing and editorial activities relating to the Promotion, including (but not limited to) being recorded, photographed, filmed or interviewed and acknowledges that the Promoter may use any such marketing and editorial material without further reference or compensation to them.
